Whitby's employment lands along Thickson and Consumers have filled in steadily with mid-size manufacturing and distribution, and the 412 has made the 407 a practical route rather than a detour. The buildings are generally newer than Oshawa's and older than Milton's, which in practice means adequate cabling but electrical infrastructure that was sized before anyone anticipated a forty-camera PoE load.
Electrical capacity is the common constraint on system expansion. Confirm the panel schedule before sizing PoE switching.
