Brampton has absorbed an enormous amount of large-format distribution over the past decade — buildings measured in hundreds of thousands of square feet, with yards sized for dozens of trailers. At that scale the perimeter is too long to cover by conventional means, and the meaningful control points are the gate, the dock face and the trailer parking area. Yard management and plate capture tend to deliver more than adding cameras along a fence line.
